LATEST NEWS APRIL 2010

We desperately need donations to pay for vaccinations, just £12 will help so much.

Sadly due to lack of funding over the winter, we are currently not able to take in any further rabbits.

Adoption

Adoption Guidelines in Brief

Rabbits will only go to their new homes once they have been wormed, neutered and vaccinated against Mixy and VHD. Please be patient as available funding has to be available and there may be a very small delay until you can take your rabbit home.

All new homes will require a home check. A home check is to check the rabbits accommodation and it must follow within the RSPCA size guidelines 6ft x 2ft hutch’s with a large run.

After 6 months, a further home check will be undertaken to ensure you and your bunny are completely happy.

There will be a small charge of £40 (Extra donation if you wish) for an adopted rabbit, this is purely a contribution towards part of the expense for the rabbits in our care.

Rosie Rabbits are always available to offer advice on any bunny issues..

The rabbits welfare is of utmost importance and why these guidelines are in place.

Please e-mail if you are interested in a rabbit, viewing is by appointment only!!

Storm - Breed: Dutch - D.O.B. May 2008

Storm is a lovely rabbit and she is looking to spend the rest of her days with a neutered male bunny. She has already been in rescue for over a year. Please give her the home she has been waiting for.

Roxy - Breed: Rex, D.O.B 2009

Roxy is the one of the most gorgeous rabbits I have ever seen, she is just stunning. I am very tempted myself!! She is like any rex has a real character. At only 7 months old, she has had 2 homes and is now in rescue through no fault of her own. She is a big rabbit and will need lots of space to explore. Roxy would love a male neutered bun to keep her company for the rest of her days

Chalky - Breed: Lop X, D.O.B 2009 approx

Chalky is quite territoral at present and slightly over weight but once she has been neutered I am sure she will be a sweetheart

Tweedy - Breed: Cross Breed - 1 1/2 Years Old

Tweedy was born in rescue and has come in from another rescue in the hope to find a forever home. He is very shy around people, as you can imagine he has not had much human contact. He always gets overlooked because he looks like a wild bunny. When he knows your not watching he is a real character to watch tossing his toys and going through his tunnels. He is looking for a home where he can live with a female neutered bunny.
